Education
& Youth Empowerment

Every child deserves access to a quality public education, regardless of their zip code. As a proud graduate of Carlisle schools and a longtime advocate for youth programs, TaWanda will fight to ensure our schools are fully funded, our educators are supported, and our students are prepared for success. That means modern classrooms, vocational training opportunities, and safe, inclusive environments where every student can thrive.

Jobs, Wages &
Workforce Development

Families in the 199th are working harder than ever just to stay afloat. TaWanda understands the importance of bringing back good-paying jobs and expanding access to workforce development programs. She’ll champion investment in skilled trades, small businesses, and local entrepreneurship to help rebuild an economy that works for everyone, not just the well-connected.

Infrastructure &
Access to Services

From broken sidewalks to outdated public transportation and lack of broadband in some areas, too many residents struggle to access basic services. TaWanda believes in smart, community-driven infrastructure investments that connect people to opportunity, whether it's a reliable bus route, safe streets, or easier access to healthcare and housing support systems.

Justice, Safety & Second Chances

As someone who has experienced the criminal legal system firsthand and built a life of purpose and service, TaWanda knows what real restoration looks like. She will work to reform Pennsylvania’s justice system to prioritize rehabilitation over punishment, support reentry programs, and promote community-based solutions to public safety that address root causes and treat everyone with dignity.

Community & Representation

TaWanda is running to be a voice for everyone, not just the powerful or politically connected. She’s committed to listening first, leading with compassion, and showing up for the people who’ve been left out of the conversation for too long. From seniors to students, renters to small business owners, she’ll fight for the resources, respect, and representation the 199th deserves.
